For those of you who have pets do they sleep with you? My kitty always snuggles up with us. I love listening to his little snores. He sleeps all night and only gets up when we get up in the morning. He never wakes us up early which i am thankful for because I know many whose cats wake them up early to feed them.
He is here now staring at me and letting me know that it is time for bed so I guess ts time to turn off the lights and get some sleep.
Happy myLotting and I will see you all back here tomorrow. Bye for now.

My cat, Jonesy, would sleep with me every night. She loved sleeping on the pillow with a towel wrapped on it. What was a riot was her snoring. She snored worse than a man!!! When I first moved into the apartment the landlord called to check and see how everything was going. It was a quiet day, and Jonesy was curled up on a chair and snoring good and loud. She could be heard three apartments down the walk. The landlord heard Jonesy snoring and the first words out of her mouth was "Do you have a man staying with you????? You know in your lease that you can't have a man staying with you or sleeping in your apartment!!!!" I tried to assure her that I didn't have a man sleeping in the apartment, but with the snoring (her volume was a 20 on a scale of 1 to 15) from Jonesy it was almost assured that there was a man in the apartment and it was grounds for my eviction.
It only took about 7 minutes when there was a knock at the door and there was my landlord, standing there looking stern and looking for the man. I invited her into the apartment and she breezed through to the bedroom and checked the bathroom and the walk in closet. NO MAN!!! About that time there was a really loud "SNORK" from the chair and the landlord came racing in to catch my man...and there was Jonesy, sound asleep, snoring like a professional. The landlord stood there in awe, then laughed like crazy. Jonesy passed in 2022 and I miss my little "lady" that could out snore my friend that snored like the long haul trucker that he was. It's her picture that I posted...she was such a sweetheart and she passed at 17 years old. I've never had a cat that could snore like her, and still haven't had one yet.

@Fleura My neighbor was an English gentleman who snored himself (I checked to see if the cat's snoring bothered him) and he was sweet on me himself, so he wasn't about to complain about the cat snoring. My only other neighbor lives below me and she is close to deaf herself so it would take a LOT of volume to bother her. The neighbor below me met Jonesy and fell in love with her, so even if she could hear the snoring she never would have complained about her "baby doll's" snoring.

I haven't had a dog since I lived with my parents but I do love the feel of a pet sleeping with you.

Usually when it is cold. If it is warm in the house, he usually prefers to sleep by himself

My allergist was horrified that I’d let my baby not only come in my bedroom but sleep right next to me on the pillow! He told me to stop that and I said, “If I did that, after seven years of letting her sleep with me, she’d consider it abuse.” I promised him the next one wouldn’t sleep with me, and I’ve kept my word. (Of course, I didn’t get another one after her.)

My chihuahua, Sadie, sleeps with me. I sleep in my recliner, and every night, she curls up under my arm, and goes right to sleep. She used to wake me up at 3am to pet her, but in the last three months, she’s really let me sleep through the night like she used to. I’ve gotten to where it feels downright weird if she’s NOT sleeping with me.

that is a great idea for an outdoor cat. He can come and go whenever he wants.

In another post i said that I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that sleep with us. And if Little Miss wakes from a bad dream she crawls in bed with us too.

@Happy2BeMe it's really funny because the dog knows when it's bedtime and if my daughter is going to bed late the dog starts acting up. I swear she can tell time
