If you won the lotto, would you continue working at your current job?

I will definitely quit and create my own online tutorial company to help others who are in need. It is sad to say that I have never had the luck for this idea, though I continue to play the lottery at random. I am still hoping to hit the jackpot. I felt bad for some who won the lottery; they just spent the winning money and lost it for overspending. If you won the lottery, what significant purchases would you make right away? I would continue my normal life trying not to show to the others that I won.

@LadyDuck I agree. If people know about it, they will start to flock at my house.

That is also important to consider, not to tell everyone that I won the lottery.

@Shavkat It depends on how much I would have left after some was taken from me. I believe I would buy us a home. I gave up long ago on it when I stopped playing.

It is also one of the major things to accomplish. Once I have this, everything will follow.

@Hannihar I sometimes do lucky pick numbers, but I never win. My younger brother experienced this before.

All of my winnings would be invested. In that way it becomes a win that never ends. As for working? Hell no. Time to LIVE.

It is a win-win situation to invest more than now, right? I will stop working with a company, too. But I can create the same type of company if it does happen.

@Shavkat I have been investing for 30+ years and will likely never stop doing that. It would be fun to buy the company I worked for and fire my crappy boss. lol

I'd save it. I'll continue with my current job and simultaneously plan on working on a project that'd help slow learners and children of various age groups in the remote rural areas to connect digitally. I'll invest on creating a website for that and have a logo done.

I think that is a brilliant idea to help slow learners and children to access with education online. Is it like an online business and targeting them?

@Shavkat Yes. Only that there needs to be experts and trainers who'd be training those students once they've completed high school, so that they in turn, can help other kids in return at a time convenient to them.

I think I would. As much as I talk about the money keeping me here, I do like what I do. George and I talked about buying a custom house out there by Ladatude landings. It's close to a lot of the places we need to go, without the need of the van. And, we'd have two houses for a while.

@Shavkat Beach houses are nice on paper, but are under constant threat of storms. Last year we had two hurricanes hit us indirectly, and twelve homes went sailing in the Atlantic ocean. Before bying a beachfront property coculate your risks.

It is also my original plan to have two places. One in the city and one in the countryside, preferably a beach house.

The first thing I would do is pay off all my debts. Then I would buy the kind of car that I want.

I will support you with that aspiration. As for me, I will continue to find ways to gain more profit, and then I will settle down in a place where I want to, too.

First things first - I would pay off my house and our car. I would get all of our needed home repairs made, and I would put the rest in a safe investment like a money market fund or CDs. I probably would leave my job, but that depends on the amount of money that I won.

I agree that it depends on how much the money is. I will surely secure my family's needs first and do other things, especially the business part.

Hope you win! Pay off my bills , buy a new house, of course give family and friends some money, and number one my tithes. And then try to start my dream business

Now I don't have a job, but I did enjoy my last job. It was paid poorly, but it helped me a lot mentally. I worked from home in front of my laptop. I would buy an apartment and I would like to rent it. This will produce monthly income.

Speaking of apartment rentals, it is a good business idea. One of my aunts took this chance, and she earns passively on a monthly basis.
