2/23/24 - Meals

It's going to be really cold today (2/24); but it will recover again tomorrow. My sister-in-law will be coming in tonight from Phoenix to see her brother. Hubby's cousin was here yesterday to do a lot of prep for her visit.
25 days until spring.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Fish, rice, cauliflower, mixed veggies, grapes and apple juice
Dessert/Snack - Triple chocolate muffin
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

Yes. And he will be having surgery Monday or Tuesday.

@LadyDuck I hope not. He was always afraid to have surgery because of that.

We have some really warm weather coming up. 70s tomorrow, 80s by Tuesday, and then back into the 40s on Wednesday. Talk about a roller coaster ride. lol
For dinner I made up a delicious batch of eggplant parmigiana, and it was yummy as usual. You just can't go wrong with that dish if you ask me.

70s and 80s?? Wow. The warmest it will get here is the 50s....Long-term forecast says 60s.

@LindaOHio I am looking forward to it. It's bittersweet as I will be in Cape in a hotel while my dad has his surgery. But I am looking forward to running around on Tuesday a bit with the wife before we get the news.

I had a light breakfast (yogurt with some Special K in it and a banana), then went to town at Chuy’s with a chicken taco salad for late lunch/early dinner with my friend. Food was good, company was better.
