I ground just enough of yesterday's roasted beans to brew a cup of coffee in my French Press this morning. It came out very well. I limited myself to one cup. I've been spending the morning posting promo blurbs for my books and stories on social media. Whether they work is a subject of conjecture. But the blurbs are already written, so I might as well post them. It is cloudy, warm, and windy this morning. Sophie and I have already been outside twice to enjoy the mild weather. I hope you're having a pleasant day.

It's a lot of work is it to be posting all the blurbs? One cup..you are disciplined..I have one and a half each morning.

I have divided them into thirds and post 1/3 each day. It takes about an hour.

@DWDavis That sounds better than spending too much time in one day.

It is hot here. So today I made cold coffee topped with vanilla ice cream and Chantilly cream. Delicious!

The aroma and taste must've been wonderful ! We only have coffee on the weekends - so I'll have to wait another couple days .

@DWDavis Was the coffee "different" being made in a French Press?

@much2say It seems to have a smoother, richer flavor.

The aroma of freshly ground and brewed coffee is a wonderful wake-me-up.

I've never tried roasting beans nor have I ever used a french press. But, I bet your coffee was awesome this morning. Hope you get some action from your promo blurbs for your books & stories.

Roasting my own beans seemed the next logical step after having ground purchased beans for several years. Last year, at my youngest son's suggestion, I started using the French Press.

I hope posting your blurbs works out for you. The weather was miserable yesterday, especially close to the lake. The winds were howling, it was freezing and there was s**w blowing around. Have a good day. P. S. Give Sophie a pet from me!!!

We haven't seen any snow at all this winter, though we've had some freezing temps. Sophie says thanks for the pats.

@LindaOHio Did you redact the n and the o so as not to bring bad luck or because it's a dirty word?

My son gave my wife and me a tutorial when he and his fiance gave us ours. It wasn't nearly as complicated as I thought it would be. The hardest part is waiting for the 4 minutes or so for the grounds to steep.

I tried to estimate how many blurb posts it took to sell one book. It was a discouragingly high number. But at least posting them is free.

Roasted coffee beans to make a fresh cup of coffee. How wonderful! I allow myself one cup of coffee each morning, I love it:)
