Thunder, Lightning, Wind and Rain

Happy Wednesday Everyone! we're getting a mixed bag of tricks this morning with the weather. Thunder, lightning and downpours and a wind advisory. A cold front is moving in after a tease of spring the last few days. Needless to say it's a dreary, dreary day.
A dreary day makes me want to read and eat.
I just got two new books . The Little Liar by Mitch Albom and The Women by Kristen Hannah. Both are getting rave reviews so it's just a matter of which one to read first.
After talking about eggplant with @porwest and @LadyDuck the other day I decided that's what I'm going to make for dinner. I'm going to bread it and then air fry instead of deep frying. We'll have it with a side of spaghetti and my daughter was surprised that I already had a dinner plan in mind.
My day is off to a good start

I don't like your mixed bag of tricks from the weather. I like mine better. Beautiful snow. Though we do have high winds here.
Enjoy the new books. I also bought a mystery box of books from Christianbook.com. I have ten new books to read. Now to find time to read them.
I'd join you in your dinner suggestion, but I don't have eggplant. Enjoy. It sounds delicious.

Enjoy your snow!! Actually it sounds better than what we have. Did I really just say that 
I got an eggplant with last week's shopping so after taking about eggplant parmesan I figured that's what I would make on this nasty day. Comfort food.

Mixed bag of tricks? You're not kidding! It went from a high of 14°C/57°F this morning to -1°C/30°F and the occassional snwflake coming down at 5:30. And the wind is still blowing.

A day like that makes you just want to nest at home. I always have things to do here...just got back from picking up that flatscreen though..The guy carried it to the car for me, which was nice. it isn't that heavy though..I should be able to bring it in by myself.

You meal sounds delicious.
I am feeling better and took a very small chicken out of the freezer this morning and roasted it for supper tonight.
I am happy that I am well enough to do that.
Our weather was wild last night, lightening and thunder and today it shifted to very cold and snow streamers and windy.

My dinner was delicious and I was happy that today I had the energy to be so ambitious.
