How much of your writing is done by hand these days?

Time flies so fast, and things have changed in terms of jotting down on a piece of paper. During my school days, I loved to write notes in my notebooks, and my handwriting was done beautifully. These days, I do not write that much anymore, except when dribbling my fingers on the keyboard. Since my niece is in grade 7, I keep telling her to work on her writing skills using a pen and paper. It can never be wrong to have good penmanship, as they say.
When you were a student, did you prefer to write notes down or type them?
Do you believe that penmanship will become obsolete in the future?

Not as much as I used to considering we now have computer technology.

I'm still writing notes to myself to remind me of something I need to do. I will often use a notebook to jot down thoughts or draft a letter.
My penmanship is not what it used to be though, lol.

@dgobucks226 I agree. During my school days, I loved taking notes, and my notebooks were so good without typographical errors, so to speak.

@Shavkat Hmm, mine started changing when I went to college. Taking lecture notes and trying to keep up by writing quickly will do that, lol.

This is a good question. Indeed, I seldom use my pen to write now.
