Fasting Month Is Coming / myLot

The fasting month starts on March 12th, 2024. The month has been awaited by those who will fast for 30 days. Usually food or snack and soft drink are provided at the mosques. We eat together when it is time to break our fast. During the fasting month, food is also given at the mosque at around 3 or 4 am before the prayer starts.

Eating and drinking are allowed at night until dawn just before the Dawn Prayer starts.

Yes, we do from early in the morning until the sunset.

It is also fasting time for Catholics, this is Lent, it started February 14 and end on March 28. It commemorates the 40 days Jesus Christ spent fasting in the desert.
