More than 2 years, my wife has suffered from this kind of disease-- colon adhesive (I hope I am using the right term.). Her doctors recommended not eating this nor drinking that. She got fed up with all those suggestions as nothing can change the situation. You may have heard food or drink that can cure her of this troublesome disease? Let me add something that she suffers from this colon adhesive due to taking too much anti-pain medication for her toothache. Image from internet searching

Tell her to drink plain yoghurt for dinner before she goes to sleep. Try this for three days. The yoghurt has good bacteria which the colon needs.

It would be colon adhesions, yes that is correct.I am so very sorry to read this for your wife..how painful this must be. Yes, doctors seem to only say eating this, eating that, don't eat, I know what you mean. I am going to compare this to possible irritable bowel syndrome, which I myself have. To manage it, I take the Probiotics and also something called Saccharomyces Boulardii. It does not cure it, but it does ease the suffering. Of course this is not medical advice, only what I am guessing might be worth researching for your wife. I also agree with Mildred ..yogurt is so good.

I am not familiar with this disease. In my view, it is best to consult a nutritionist or her attending doctor about this concern.

She has attended her doctors, but they didn't seem to focus on her patients.

@yanzalong I felt bad for being in this kind of situation. Why not have a second opinion?

Yogurt or a yogurt drink is the best thing for her to have every single day.

More than what to eat, she should focus on what to avoid. Your wife should avoid high-fiber foods, some vegetables, whole-wheat and whole-grain products, wheat bran, to reduce the risk to develop a blockage. Always cook food and avoid raw food, and try to blend or finely shred food to make it more likely to pass easily, Yogurt is very good to have on a daily basis.
