I have already described my visit to the Crocodile Park in Abu Dhabi. The park also houses a beautiful museum and has some wonderful exhibits. One of the exhibits is of a mummy of a crocodile. We have heard about human mummies but this is the first time I have seen a crocodile mummy. I understand the crocodile was a sacred animal that inhabited the Nile River and ancient Egyptians worshipped it. Perhaps that is why the crocodile mummy was made as a mark of adoration and worship of the reptile. By the way, the Nile crocodiles are pretty ferocious, but not as ferocious as the ones in the Amazon River. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I hope my friends who see this photo will get an idea about a crocodile Mummy.
