YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

There are certain specimens in the world who refuse to accept change, adopt change. They prefer to leave the comfort zone and remain cocooned in their own shells. I encountered one today. No matter how much you coax or motivate, they, like a bull, remain hinged to their decisions, their ego, as big as their constitution. Change is not their cup of tea, even if it is meant for their own benefit. Imagine, refusing to type a question paper, that too in English. Ego, masquerading fear. But inspiration comes to those who write, love writing. So I wrote and wrote. There's a site, where I am uploading poems. This one's entitled 'It's a Parasite's World' I needed to vent, so wrote for the sheer love of writing. MyLot has helped me a lot!

It is absurd not to type a question paper!! It is such a simple thing, and it costs you nothing. Don't get upset, we need to accept some people are the way they are and it is not worth it to go to the trouble of trying to change them. I was reading something recently and that person said that we all have distorted images of the reality and we need to wash our widows through which we see the world. Some people can wash their window and change, some people can t. It is their loss

@apsmine9 Lol yes!!! It is so true!! I have a few colleagues myself that way and I cannot understand them as much as I try. Then I remember, I should try not to bother with them

Come to think of it, they're not even ashamed that they're lagging behind in this fast paced world!

Especially adults with a fixed mindset.

I agree, you just can't argue with some people. No matter how good your arguments are, they just won't listen and will never change. It's best not to waste your time with them. I like your writing. Keep it up!

myLot is one of those places where one has the freedom to write in any form, manner or type of content they want. It makes the site very appealing in that way. AND of course, it also provides an outlet to get things off our chests.

The most important thing is the responses from the MyLotters. They suggest, respond in a way which show they relate to the content, remark, there's a kind of personal touch, though virtual. Threads from a discussion get added and make discussions very interesting. Pictures uploaded, posted, draw a lot of attention. On the whole, the connection of fellow brothers and sisters makes the MyLot experience interesting.
