The California Highway Patrol (CHP) answered an emergency call on Monday afternoon when a pickup truck spilled rolls of toilet paper on Interstate 5 in Santa Clarita by accident even though there is not enough evidence to suggest that the Ford F-350 was involved in a collision with another auto. The CHP officer spent around twenty minutes throwing rolls of toilet paper over the cement barrier that separated the interstate from a construction site. Traffic on the Interstate was delayed for a short period of time due to the toilet paper being on the highway. Link is upi.com/89317102602255 via @upi

Well, that’s a unique kind of traffic jam! Glad the officers were quick to clean it up.

If covid was still bad, there would have been a traffic jam of people trying to get some free TP.

I'm surprised people weren't scooping up the TP.

I believe that the presence of the police prevented anyone from stealing any of the toilet paper in the interstate.

My God, had this happened during the height of the pandemic, they would not have needed a clean up crew. They'd have needed crowd control. lol

Well I guess his stock up session went for nothing. I hope no one was hurt in the congestion.

Oh my - I hadn't heard about this! The afternoons are always packed on the 5, so I'm sure traffic was a total mess there (besides the toilet paper ).

The traffic was crowded on the interstate at the time of the accident.

Wish I had seen that and was somewhere nearby if I was in a car I would have swiped as many TP as I could,
