Food Porn: "Pancit Canton"

I cooked "pancit canton," or dried noodles with meat and vegetables in them, for lunch today. Since I have a lot of ample time this morning, I decided to make the kitchen in a chaotic situation. It was not that difficult since I just needed to sauté the vegetables and meat with condiments and add them up with the dried noodles. What is your lunch today?

I always love eating Chinese meals in a restaurant. This is one of the dishes that they cook. I am planning to try other Chinese foods next time. I am glad that you like your meal.

It is also the same style of cooking. We just use a bit thicker noodles as compared to pancit bihon. In some instances, both of these of noodles are combined and we call it "miki bihon."

That is indeed practical if you found interest in cooking. Although I am not particularly interested in doing so, I enjoy eating.

I used to be like you, eating what was being served on the table. Since no one will cook at home, I need to learn it. It was my mom's duty when she was still alive.

@Beestring I thought you were. When I was in China, Chinese colleagues had a good appetite when eating meals during lunchtime.

I am planning to cook "tamagoyaki," a Japanese-style omelet, within this week. However, I need to find a way to cook it without using the rectangular type of pan.

What you had for lunch sounds and looks really good. I just thawed out some home made chicken noodle soup and we had that for lunch.
