I watched Watchers. It was made in 1988. It is loosely, loosely, loosely based on the book by Dean Koontz. I am reading the book right now. It has Corey Haim, Michael Ironside, Lala Sloatman, Blu Mankuma, Duncan Fraser, Colleen Winton, and Barbara Williams. Big Warning: there is lots of violence. Spoiler Below. This movie is not like the book at all. Yes, it does have the dog and Travis. But Travis is a man, not a teenage boy. Nora is not a mother. The creature hunting them doesn't even look like a dog. It looks like bigfoot. Travis does give the dog a name in the book. Travis doesn't know right away that the dog came from a research lab in the book. I don't like this movie. I even skipped most of it. Next week I'm watching Watchers II.
