@LindaOHio - We have special services run by volunteers here. They come to your home, help to dress and drive you where you need. I am sorry you have nothing like that.

Mentally he is OK. He just needs to get up and walk again. That will take time.

When hubby was hospitalized he had his cell phone but no charger. He was in isolation and the entire floor was in lockdown. Hospital staff needed to be my courier.

@LindaOHio none of the hospital rooms my husband has occupied in the last year has had a phone. He now has his cellphone with him /hopefully also his charger. I changed his plan to unlimited so he’s never unreachable.

If he was still in the hospital, he'd have a phone. The rehab facility has no phones for short-term patients. I think that's wrong!

I can't imagine being away from my S/O for that long...so I can understand being over the being alone stuff. Hopefully you can see him Friday, and then he'll be home ASAP
