Happy Wednesday Everyone! it's lightly raining here this morning and it's a bit on the chilly side. Today and tomorrow will be raining but the rest of the week looks sunny and nice.
Haven't been here for a few days. Things got busy and I didn't have much computer time.
Today I have to finalize my grocery list for Easter Sunday dinner. I'm looking forward to having the family together especially since it's been awhile, I'm trying to keep the menu simple but nothing is ever as simple as it sounds.
I was out yesterday for my doctors appointment and my blood work so today I'm waiting to hear from the doctor regarding my blood work.
I feel like I've missed so much not being here so I'm going to see what's been happening while I enjoy my coffee.

Is there any snow on your forecast for tomorrow or Friday this week? They were calling for some yesterday or today with the rain we got but no snow came that I noticed. Tomorrow we might get a bit before noon. It all depends.
Next week might get into the sixties a couple of days and that will be nice.
I enjoyed time with my extended family for Easter and I'm sure your did too.

No snow here but lots of rain and wind. Yesterday we had a booming thunderstorm that literally shook the house. Nicer weather can't be far off and we'll see spring.

@Marilynda1225 we had the heavy winds and rain a few days ago too. And we didn't get the snow this morning, so that's good. Someone in Michigan might have gotten some just not where we live.

That will be great for you to have the family over. What are you having? I was just looking at a pineapple casserole recipe, but better not. You know who is going to end up eating it..points at self. Maybe I will opt for fresh fruit instead. I will keep the pineapple casserole in mind though..maybe next Christmas or something though..as they say it goes great with ham.

@Marilynda1225 You can eat it as either. It is big in the South. I remember Clay Aiken made it once when Martha Stewart still had a talk show of sorts.

Well, when no one came for Christmas I put the ham in the freezer so now I'm going to defrost it and we'll have that with sides. I want to have a nice variety of food but don't want to overdo it and have too much.
Pineapple casserole? Is it a side dish or dessert?

I love pur family time but I have to agree that cooking isn't fun anymore. My mom used to say that and I never understood how she could feel that way until recently
Thankfully, though, everyone pitches in so its not all on my shoulders.

Seems like many of us are doing grocery shopping for Easter. Easter kind of snuck up on me this year. I guess I thought it was in April

I have four free hours this afternoon to run errands and enjoy some me time.
The respite worker will do laundry, my dishes and pop supper into the oven.
Ahh! Glorious freedom! If only for a little while.
