Good morning, dear lotters.

I just had breakfast. I woke up early and started to watch news. Suddenly I discovered that I was very hungry. And I remembered that I had only eaten a piece of cake yesterday for dinner. So I went to the kitchen to see what I had. And I found out that there was still some smoked ham so I made me a delicious ham sandwich. Now I have energy to write. Today I hope I can separate some papers that I have in my desk. I bought 2 big boxes and I will place in one only medical exams. I have them now in separate places but sometimes I don´t find the ones I need. I will leave the other box for "junk". That means all sorts of things that can either be kept or thrown away. And that is a very difficult job. Yesterday, as Dixie was not feeling well enough to move around too much, she started to clean the first drawer of her night table. She showed me proudly what she had thrown away. I said nothing but it was the same result I have when I clean my first night table drawer. I spend a whole morning and throw away 2 tiny bits of paper with a phone number I don´t know and a couple of meds that are past the expiring date. I don´t know why, but I always have more junk than things I really need. Still, when I give away something, the next day I find that I desperatly need it. I´ll now go for my second cup of coffee. See you.

I find that the same thing happens to me when I decide to declutter. Currently I have a whole box of very old papers that need to be shredded and one of these days I'll get around to my bedroom closet and work my way through all the clothes I don't wear anymore.

I feel the same way when I start to throw things away. I think there's a hoarder living inside me.

I´m sure that there´s a hoarder living inside me although my house does not look like those hoarder´s houses that you see on TV.

I have to go throw some papers. At least I decided to place in the same box all my medical exams and tests.

I have tried to clean up my night table´s first drawer a thousand times. Every time I toss away something and every time I end up keeping almost everything.

Decluttering is always a difficult task trying to decide what is necessary and what isn't. Have a wonderful weekend.

I've been decluttering lately and it's been an ordeal -- just trying to decide whether I should throw my daughter's first grade composition work about "Black Beauty" or keep it. And there's lots more like that on different topics. LOL Decluttering can be so futile.

I am doing the same, go through a lot of paper and place in a large box everything that is not junk and can be thrown away.

For a long time I have walked about my apartment and looked at what I have all around and at the many photo albums and other stuff and I wonder what will happen to it all when I am gone, Then I just get forlorn and I return to my PC. One of these days I know I will have to make a decision,

It's really hard sometimes to throw away about stuff. Sometimes I can spend hours and end up throwing away very little.
