Chips, avocado and sausage for lunch.

Chips, avocado, sausage
Nairobi, Kenya
April 1, 2024 4:03am CST
I left the camp after breakfast in the morning and arrived home before 10:00am. I washed all my clothes I wore in the camp and washed the house and verandah. It's now 12:00pm. I went to the hotel behind my home and bought chips , avocado and sausage. Chips was 100 Kenyan shillings. Sausage - 70 shillings And 3 avocado for 60 shillings. 20 shillings each. I prepared the avocado and placed everything on the plate as it appears on the photo. I'm now having my first lunch at home after camp. I was too tired to cook but I'll cook supper. I hope your Monday has started well.

Yes it was very delicious. And the avocado is the type I like because you don't need to eat it with salt.

Thank you. I will miss the camp but I have good memories. It is my first time having a combination of chips with avocado.

The chips look a bit anaemic to me, Milly. Are they cooked potatoes? I like mine fried in oil and crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. I like sausages, but not keen on avocados. Apart from that it looks delicious. What did you cook for supper?

I cooked cornmeal and silver Cyprinid Monday evening. They look anaemic but they had plenty tomato which was not well captured. I don't like crispy chips, I like it soft and tender.

Yes. The chips here is cheaper compared to the exotic restaurants. They sell less than 10 pieces of chips for much money and they decorate it well on the plate. You eat but are not satisfied. I prefer buying at the hotel behind my home because they sell enough chips for one person for just $1. I like buying take away. The hotel cooks and sells to students who go to a neighbouring college. So the food is very affordable.
