I answered coffee in a question as to which I would drink for life coffee or tea. I like tea but, oh! I love a tasty latte. Coffee is known to be one of the healthiest beverages on the planet. Many different health benefits are in coffee. These benefits are compounds called antioxidants. Oxidation is stress on your body caused by free radicals. This oxidation is one of the mechanisms that is behind aging. There are serious conditions that these cause like heart disease and cancer. Coffee is said to out rank even vegetables and fruits and is the biggest source of antioxidants in the Western diet. That is on average since its intake is so common that it out does that of fruit and vegetables. One particular study in 2012 of coffee consumption in 402,260 people between the ages of 50-71 showed that those who drank more coffee were significantly less like to die during the 12-13 year study period. So, when you treat yourself to a cup of coffee you are also giving your body many other powerful beneficial compounds.

I love coffee. But I donĀ“t drink it for healthy reasons. I tend not to trust when doctors say to do this or that as eating goes. I eat what I like and in reasonable amounts. My body usually tells me when to stop.

I like it at times. Had been drinking tea when I was sick. I just can't seem to find a coffee flavor that I like.

I love coffee too. Had to stop for a long time due to reflux but I can tolerate the filtered coffee again. I add a little chocolate on top and it's the perfect combination! However it's not recommended for people with sensitive stomach, high blood pressure and overactive thyroid.

I only have one cup a day when I have it. Some people are more sensitive to it than others.

Coffee also has caffeine which is bad for those suffering from anxiety and high blood pressure. The acid in it could also worsen digestive issues.

I haven't had my daily cup since hubby has been in the hospital/rehab. I don't know if he will be able to make me a cup when he comes home.

I too am a big coffee fan. However I read somewhere that too large amounts of coffee are not good for your health, which is why I alternate with tea, both green and black. Moderation is always the best approach. Also recommended on hot summer days: sparkling water with a dash of apple cider vinegar. From what I heard it's very healthy as well. Tastes a bit like lemonade, but sour instead of sweet.
