You Won't See It Everyday

The Statue of Liberty in New York was shaking. The camera atop the statue captured the earthquake's movement. By now, many have read about the earthquake that occurred yesterday. The video shows the statue and other buildings in NY and what had occurred. Once in a lifetime to see that statue moving. Although some say it is just the camera shaking..well okay, but it is still significant then.

We saw this on the news. I'm so glad she didn't come tumbling down. That would have been unthinkable.

It's surprising to me, especially in my country, it will be dark on the 8th to 10th of April 2024 with a total solar eclipse.

The earthquake movements feel stronger when you are in tall flexible structures, it also depends on the natural frequency of the buildings.

Many of us get to where we are not in awe of nature. That is a shame.

Crazy that an earthquake happened out that way! Right - even for the camera to shake, whatever below it must've been shaking too .

@RebeccasFarm I saw the earthquake in the news.It was horrific. We have a mild earthquake in our area about 12 years ago.It lasted for just 5 seconds;but within those 5 seconds the whole town came on roads.
