For a second, when i just opened the video, i thought panda died. No, she (female) went to China, from South Korea.
I love pandas. Never saw one in a real life but watched a lot of videos about panda nannies and maybe considering becoming one.
All in all, a few days ago, Fu Bao, a first panda born in South Korea had departed for her homeland, China.
I wish her luck. I didn't know people were so attached to her. You can see the video if you want.

Why did they ship her out to China? Oh this might be sad.
But they worship animals? The Panda is revered I know.

@LadyDuck i imagine how would we feel
i support for this panda and all animals to be put in reservoir where is so much space for them
interesting fact. a few days ago, i came across of anime, some scenes only when a villain decided to erase the whole humanity but he decided he would keep pandas alive
i laughed a lot

apparently she is of age for breeding and needs to come back to China according to some agreement. i think so too, for her happiness. so many pump around her and she being in truck, she perhaps didn't notice that anything unusual is happening
as for the zoo, they will get perhaps less visitors now and that is why they were with teary eyes

There was a couple of pandas at Edinburgh zoo which were returned to China last year. They had been loaned to the zoo in the hope they would breed. Unfortunately after 12 years, it was clear this was never happening. I don’t think they were even interested in mating. Too shy maybe, but we’ll never know.

@grenery8 Is that a job, Panda encourager?
Obviously didn’t work. I’m at the age now where I need encouragement too.

Interesting story. Was leased to the zoo from China and the lease was up. Often animals like that are moved from one zoo to another for breeding purposes. I'm sure the Chinese will take good care of her.

People do get attached to animals. I hope she finds a mate there.
