How often does this happen to you? Have you ever walked into a room with a mission, only to stand there clueless, muttering, ""What was I looking for again?" My thoughts just seem to vanish from my brain as soon as I think of them lol Anyone who can relate?

OH YES!! Even too many times. I get up, I go downstairs because I have to get something and when I reach the room I do not remember why I am there.

Its comforting to know I'm not alone haha Lately its becoming frequent that sometimes I began to wonder if something's wrong with me lol. My poor brain... What I'll do is to go back and enter the room again, or just stand there till I remember why was I there and what was I looking for. Sometimes I remember, sometimes not, then I just give up. Another thing I noticed with myself is, say for example we are talking, I was to say something but you interrupted me, for sure after that I have forgotten what I was suppose to say to you before you interrupted me. It may take a while before for the thought to come back again.

@pitsipeahie Don´t worry, dear. I thought that I was dumb because I started to forget things and then decided that I am very intelligent because I´m able to make lists.

@pitsipeahie I meet more and more people telling me that they have this problem. I think that we have so many "inputs" and things to do and to care of that it's normal to forget.

I feel you! Stress has a knack for making everything a bit more complicated, even finding the right door.

@grenery8 Relate! If I'm about to say something and someone interrupts me, I also forgot what I was to say. It takes a while before I remember, sometimes it doesn't come back at all and so I give up.

It happens to me every day. The worst is when I open the fridge and then ask myself what was I looking for with the door open. Lately I have learned. I close the door and stand there until I remember or give up.

@pitsipeahie I used to be better at it, now it's more difficult.

I guess sometimes multitasking doesn't help our brain to focus.
