4/13/24 - Update on My Husband

My husband was walking yesterday and twisted his foot. He said his hip hurt after that; so they took some X-rays. Everything is still OK and in place.
I spoke with the Social Worker yesterday to tell her to fax the Referral again. She got really belligerent with me; so I gave it right back to her. Turns out, according to the other rehab facility, she faxed it to the wrong number the first time. After all that, the Referral was received; but now she says there are no openings!!!!!

That social worker should be shot. Sorry about this and sorry he twisted his foot. I will keep praying and hope you get some good news soon,

Sorry he was in pain, but that is good to know everything is okay and in place.
OMG - I am sorry to hear that! If they would have got it right in the first place they may have not run out of openings.

Bummer on no openings, but now the referral is there when an opening comes up. Since it is for short term rehab that can happen soon.

They take a lot of short-term rehabs; so the possibility of something opening up is high.

I guess it is something you will have to keep checking on.The social worker sounds like a piece of work. Too bad because their job is to be supportive and helpful.
