I started to learn a lot about health and lifestyle. I realized why as age increases, diseases and allergies begin to appear. It turns out this is all due to oxidation that occurs in the body. For example, as a vehicle gets older, with various external and internal factors over the years it will experience deterioration and require maintenance. Likewise, the body needs care and detox.
Apart from exercise, meditation. I focus on detoxing with intermittent fasting, drinking herbs, reducing red meat and increasing fiber from fruits and vegetables.
What about the lifestyle you adopt?

High-fat, low-carb, lots of red meat, bacon, butter, eggs, full-fat dairy, no fruits or veg (both toxic,) small amount of homemade flatbread made from imported Italian flour and Parm cheese and a little potato here and there or potato gnocchi just to keep my blood sugar from tanking. Lots of water, lots of sleep. Never felt better.

That is great that you take care of your health. It's our moral responsibility. I don't do anything in extreme. But I am regular with my exercise and choose healthy options for diet. I also do yoga and meditation regularly. And I do go for some unhealthy treats from time to time... that's also a treat to our tongue

I take in more fiber from Leafy vegetables. I also eat pickled cucumber because it's good for gut. I do some walking and just enjoy my food.

@MelthySow I do not force myself into doing something, as long as I am enjoying it, what is most important is my well being.

That fresh corn looks so good.
I try to be healthy but the stress I am under is killing me.
I will die earlier than I had wanted.

Wow, MelthySow, your insights on health and lifestyle are eye-opening! Aging and health challenges are indeed a lot like maintaining a vehicle - both require regular upkeep and detoxification. Your focus on intermittent fasting, herbal remedies, and a plant-based diet is inspiring! As for me, I'm all about balance - incorporating yoga, mindful eating, and plenty of greens into my routine. Here's to a vibrant and healthy lifestyle for us all! #HealthyLiving #WellnessJourney #LifestyleTips

Yes,. This is our way of self-love, namely by taking care of ourselves and adopting a healthy lifestyle. What you're doing is cool too.

I try my best to meet the nutritional demands of my body. I focus mainly on getting the essential macro and micro nutrients.
I eat mostly veggies, rice, Indian flat bread (roti) but occasionally (once a month) I will have chicken, fish.
It's great to hear that you also exercise and meditate.
I have tried doing meditation, but it's quite difficult to stick to a routine. The maximum I did was a 67 days streak!
Wish you all the good health :)
