I never do just what I planned

I need more weekend in my week, just so I can rest one day and work one day and still have a day to get things done.
After church today and lunch, Bob took a nap. I eventually tried to wrestle the cats out of the way so I could lay down as well.
I had been saying that I needed to make banana bread, so I did. I also ran across a recipe that was for three loaves of pumpkin bread. I made that as well. It is too sweet.
For our evening meal we sampled my baking endeavors. I decided I needed something healthier, though. I had a serving of cottage cheese and some spinach. I had to get rid of all that sweetness.
I will have to get up in the morning and get the trash out. I ignored it today. Bob's treatment tomorrow and Wednesday will be at 1:00 o clock. The other days it will be 8:15. He will have his full five this week.
The weather will be warmer tomorrow and I am glad of that.
Now it is time to hit the sack. Good night all.

I know how that goes, we plan the day & everything
but what we plan gets done & the things we planned
gets pushed aside to another week or never gets done.

It has been a long time since I make a banana bread. Lately, I prefer to buy a cake or any sweet. I hate to pour flour on the counter with mis trembling hands

Long ago and far away I had a job where I worked Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday... I guess I had a weekmiddle as well as a weekend off. It was a good balance. Unfortunately, I got pneumonia and was replaced.

It sounded like a busy weekend. I hope the treatments go well.

Now we're retired, it's like a weekend day every day. It's hard to keep track of the days sometimes.

I hope Bob's treatments go well this week. I know how those short weekends go. Before I retired I spent all day Saturday cooking for the week, then we would go to my in-laws on Sunday; and I would cook for them, do their laundry, etc. I never had a weekend for several years!!! Have a good week.
