I love watching movies and I think cinema's ticket is too expensive to allow me and my family going to cinema many times in a month.
I prefer to rent a DVD and watching it at home with my family because it's less expensive. If cinema ticket was more suitable I think many people could go more often to the cinema. What do you think about?

I do think the cinema ticket price is too expensive, but I still go, just not to every movie I see. Now, due to the expensive price I have to limit myself. Also the food at the cinema is far too expensive, howerver I normally think 'o well, im allready spending all my money on the ticket, why not just spend even more' lol and so I end up buying the tubs of minstrels. yummy!!

With how services like netflix are only $6 a month and you can get as many DVD's as you want if you return yours quickly, I think movie theaters will either have to lower prices or you will see more go out of business.

Movie tickets could be only $1 and I still wouldnt go in all honesty...its not just the price that stops me from goin, its also the comfort..I like being able to pause the movie if I have to pee or want to go make a snack etc...I like putting my feet up, kickin back and enjoying the show...I dont want to have to deal with ppl talking, throwing popcorn, interupt me by having to get to their seat (or me interupting others by trying to get back to my seat)....Wtaching movies at home is far more enjoyable on all levels

Yeah movie tickets here in the US are getting ridiculous if you want to go at night. It's like 9 dollars. I usually like to just buy cheap dvds which you can always find on ebay, the prices are always dropping OR I go to the drive in. They are new releases, just like in the theater and it's only 6 dollar per person for TWO movies. Great deal!

Movies are very expensive where I am. Especially when I would have to buy 4 tickets to go. I only go when I am visiting my parents. Their tickets are $1.50 no matter what time they go.

I rarely go to the cinema. The last time I watched a movie in a cinema was months ago. Though I don't think that movie tickets are overpriced, I prefer to buy DVD's and watch at home because I can understand the movie better. There are no disturbances like ringing phones, people in front of you who stand to go to the restroom, and people looking for seats to occupy. Aside from that, I can watch the movie anytime I want to because I own a copy of it.

I like to watch films on cinema.
But yes tickets are expensive.
Tickets are getting more expensive day by day.
But few nice films we see in cinema.Or else DVD CD etc.

i agree. it's too expensive to go and watch movies in cinemas. it's better to stay at home and watch movies with your family on DVDs or VCDs.

Watching a movie is one of the best entertainment I know after sports.I go to the movies once or twice in a month but only if the movie is worth watching. No the tickets in my city are not as expensive that is a different thing that they are not worth that price.
