I had an Amazon delivery at 4am this morning. I was up and kept getting these text messages on my phone. Now it was said overnight, but I had never experienced it. So, finally the phone rang, it was the delivery girl. She was at the wrong house, so I had to go and meet her. It was dark and quite cool. It was an awful experience. Don't think I'll be so quick to get an overnight delivery again. I felt sorry for her out in the dark delivering packages. Didn't like that experience at all. Have you ever had the experience?

I don't like this at all. Night delivery is really unsafe for both the delivery person and the recipient.

In many neighborhoods all over the country, that would be an extremely stupid thing to do. A great way to get shot, or run into a bad problems. I've had a delivery at about 6:20 AM before but never at 4AM. Good grief.

That is just foolish, it puts everyone involved at risk. I wouldn't, either!

That's never happened to me. That's odd. I honestly didn't know Amazon does overnight deliveries.

@popciclecold It is insane, no one can deliver during the night in this country. The hours from 11 p.m. up to 6 a.m. are "silence hours", no business allowed during those hours.

Never had such experience. I have got a few deliveries from them pretty late at 10 PM. But that was expected and mentioned. 4 AM is a weird time and many would be in bed.

I would hate to get a delivery that early in the morning . However, my husband is an early riser so maybe he could answer the door if it did happen to us.

That's a good thing.. But having to go out in the dark was unpleasant.

Really? You are kidding? I never had them deliver at that time. I was Flummoxed today when I saw the UPS truck backing up in my driveway, but I remembered it was one of the remotes I ordered. At first I couldn't imagine what it could be.
