Springtime Is a Seaon of Change and of Hope

After five days of rain and too cool temperatures, there is a little sun this Saturday morning, but it is soon to be followed by (you guessed it) showers and jacket temperatures. Oh well, that's Oregon in the springtime. We get anxious for the sun to shine. But flowers are blooming all over, grass is growing too fast and trees are leaving out, so we can look ahead and know there will be sun and, yes, too much heat. Now, if the world could slow down the bloodshed in too many places, the gun violence in too many countries (starting in the US) and speed up certain "unprecedented" criminal trials, I could be a more optimistic person. Anyway, I hope that things are going well where you are.
