Who Do We Have Governing Our Country?

Did you see in the news where this governor of South Dakota recently wrote in a book that she had killed her 14-month-old puppy and also a goat?
Four days ago Kristi Noem defended what she had written in her upcoming biography. She killed a family dog by leading it to a gravel pit and shooting it. She was also banished from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation for her rhetoric that linked crime and immigration as dangerous and opportunistic. I didn't read how she defended it. How can you defend such a thing?
Well, we sure need more like her around, don't we? NOT! She is now known as the puppy killer.

Wow, that's awful. Did she say why she killed the puppy? Was it sick?

@LadyDuck ........It was probably her that couldn't train and not the dog's fault.

@Kouponkaren NO the dog was not sick, she said she was unable to train the dog. She shot the poor dog and also the goat.

She said ''I just hated that dog''...so it was quoted.

@celticeagle I stopped well before this. I might catch a headline or two online, but I don't look for it. When it comes to the internet, anyone can say anything.

I read it here. I´m sure that there are several evil people who kill animals. But I hadn´t heard of one who BOASTS of doing it.

Some years back, there was a veterinarian in Texas who killed her neighbor's cat with a bow and arrow. Because she said it was ''on her property''--she was a veterinarian!! Then she had pictures taken of herself holding the cat with the arrow through it's head.
She lost her job, she couldn't practice veterinary medicine for at least 5 years...I don't know if she ever got a job. Mean to animals? Shoot them just for fun? No wonder she's jobless.

Really. She shouldn't be allowed to own another animal.

I wonder if these facts are hidden from voters or if they actually know.

She showed her true colors. It was a PUPPY. You have to train a puppy. Not take it out and shoot it because it went after chickens. That is totally normal behavior for many dogs. You have to train them not to do that. What an idiot.
Remember the Mitt Romney thing, when he drove all the way to Canada with his dog in a cage on the top of the car. I remember people didn't vote for him, due to hearing of that.
Kristi was even heard to say ''I hated that dog''...seriously?? If you hated it, could you not have surrendered it to someone who would actually care enough to train it and care for it?
Totally stupid and incredibly mean.

@MarieCoyle .........I get so angry seeing men hitting a dog when it gets out in the street like it is supposed to know. It's the man's job to keep the animal out of the street.

Consistency and repetitive approach is how you train an animal. She obviously didn't have either. She could have bought a dog that was older and trained. She had many options other than murdering the poor animal. Yes, very mean.

Over half the dogs that are surrendered are due to poor or nonexistent training by the owner. They put no thought in it..they get a dog. They think it's cool. They expect it to be totally trained, etc. They never realize they have to do that before they get the poor dog.
Then the dog gets dumped because ''he/she is out of control, jumps on us, potties on the floor, and on and on''...I've heard it all. A trained pet is a true treasure and worth all of the effort.
