I love jackfruit. I got some 250 gms today from an organic store..I have enjoyed two pieces today..I will have the other three left tomorrow. My husband and daughter don't like it. I am going to have them all.
What do you do with the boiled seeds?

@arunima25 That is expensive. We have yet to harvest them as this time they are way up and have not found anyone to climb up there.

@allknowing 80 Rs for 250 gms. I wish I was there. Today mom shared the picture of our jackfruit tree in the native.. it's ladden with fruits. But they are still raw and small. I love raw jackfruit curry. Mom made it a few times when I was there in April..it was heaven.

I have had jackfruit after it was processed. What does it taste like just off the tree?

@allknowing They don't seem that sweet here and can be used in barbecue or tacos

I have a stock of that in my fridge and eat a few every day, steaming the lot that I eat.
