I think it’s cute! My very first coffee maker

I know this may not seem like a big deal to most, but I’ve never owned one of these things before. And certainly didn’t know how to operate it. My dad had to teach me, from Step 1. Did I fill up the coffee pot with water and put the grounds in the filter and then just sit there for an hour? While nothing happened? Yes Dad intervened and said ummm you need to pour the water from the coffee pot INTO the coffee maker. What the F goes on in that mind of yours, I know you’re smarter than this. Were you waiting for some kind of miracle? I was. I’m just glad they had it in white, it will match all the other stuff I’m slowly but surely getting. The big move is delayed a bit, my parents have their eye on some property and they may actually be my (semi)- neighbors and then the whole cat living situation will change so I’m not rushing.. I like having more time anyway, I don’t even have half of what I need yet. Do you own a coffee maker? Do you think Mr. Coffee is a good choice? It’s a little guy, 5-cupper Sun. May 5th Time: 4:55 p.m. You got the coffee maker Next is mini-grill

I’ve got all the kitchen gadgets, but don’t use half of them. I’ve got a coffee maker like yours, and a cafetière. Neither of which I have used for a long while as I stick to instant coffee these days. Enjoy!

@Melanie_Marie It’s basically a coffee pot with a plunger to push all the coffee grounds to the bottom of the pot before you pour. A cheaper and easier way to brew coffee.

My relatives and myself own a coffee maker at home since my nephew loves to drink coffee.

Thanks Ras, I do half reg and half decaf. After days of working with a crappy bag of Green Mountain I finally took a leap of faith and bought this combo. These 2 are great - 50/50

I don't know how to use one of these so good for you. We only like instant coffee.

Gotcha. I just can’t drink instant anymore. I got kinda spoiled and kept going to 7-Eleven to get 1 cup of regular from the coffee machines and one cup of decaf, then I’d mix them together. But that was adding up to $3.00 extra a day, so I figured this would be a good money-saver. I don’t see any 7-Elevens out at the new place, I don’t see much of anything, so I’m glad I got this little guy. Thanks Judy
