Italian Seasoning & Majoram & Thyme & Garlic Too

I grew up in Texas a very long time ago and with my mother's cooking we had a choice of salt or pepper to use as seasonings. I'm so glad that I outgrew those limitations!
I now sprinkle Italian Seasoning on salads and on almost anything I cook besides oatmeal.
Marjoram & thyme are ingredients in that seasoning, but I sometimes add them too.
I have fresh garlic and a little thing that makes it easy to mince, but I also have garlic powder and something called Lemony Garlic from my favorite store along with a jar of Garlic Lovers sprinkles.
I seem to be addicted to these wonderful flavors, but I'm careful not to use to much and smother the flavors of what I'm preparing.
Do you use these or other seasonings a lot? Have you ever made your own Italian or other mixtures?

@JamesHxstatic - I have always enjoyed cooking. I had lost the marjoram in the vegetable garden. Mowing the lawn I recognized the scent. At least the wind did a good job "planting" the seeds.

I take it easy on the salt, but love pepper and many others.

Not really..but I could get into it. I have alot of spices. Last night I used Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning blend. I would roughly compare it to Mrs. Dash

Growing up in the sixties here in the UK, salt and pepper seemed to be the only seasoning available, but in reality it was all my mother used.
Nowadays, we have so much choice. I love all kinds of food, so have tried pretty much every herb and spice. I use Italian herbs on my pastas and risottos, and use lots of spices on my Indian inspired dishes. Garam Masala is a great base for curry, along with a bit of chilli for heat.

Yes all good things. I looked up a recipe and made my own garam masala once since I needed some.
