One down, three to go

I brought back four jigsaws last time I visited my sister and yesterday I finished the 1,000 piece one. The sunflowers were a bit tricky as were the cows but I got there in the end. The pieces were normal size so I was quite pleased with myself having got it finished. I tend to get a bit OCD when it comes to jigsaws and can’t tear myself away. The result is that I get a very stiff neck and shoulders so I find the jigsaws with larger pieces are a better option for me. Another warm sunny day here but expecting showers over the next four days. We need the rain.

The pig and sheep look suspiciously happy... what are they plotting?

They do look like they're smiling, don't they? The pig has pinched a sunflower so he's happy.

Haha, yes. I've done the next one. It was smaller and with bigger pieces so it didn't take me long.

We are opposites. When I had my puzzle, I couldn't make myself do it. I just always felt I should be doing something else.

I don't really have enough to do here so I didn't feel too guilty taking time off to do it.

Those are a bit easier to see and do in my opinion, too.

It's amazing how many different colours are in the cows. You think they are just black and white but there are all sorts of subtle shadings.

I've packed it up already and done another smaller one. I'll return them to my sister one day.

This one is so colorful and pretty with all those farm animals. We are finally having a sunny day, must needed after all the rain we got.

@JudyEv We had a thunderstorm yesterday evening, only around one hour, but with torrential rain. Today is sunny. We had more rain than we needed during the past two months.

This is my type of puzzle. We're supposed to get rain tomorrow. We need it here.

You did a great job on it. I kind of miss doing puzzles, but there really isn’t a place for one in my apartment. I don’t even have a kitchen table.

We don't have anywhere near as much room as we used to but I can work around it as long as no-one comes to stay.

I love that jigsaw. I have a cousin who loves doing jigsaws, and he has some quite big ones in frames too.

Good job! I no longer have a table that I can put jigsaw puzzles on. My husband took it and filled it up with his magazines, etc. We could use some rain too. All the storms have been missing us. Have a good day.

I move this on the board to the spare room but if we're expecting someone to stay the night, it all gets a bit tricky.

^^ That’s as pretty as a picture. Love the sunflowers :) Congrats on finishing that thing. I get OCD about lots of stuff too. Not jigsaw puzzles, I don’t even attempt them because I can’t sit still long enough to finish them. Nice job Judy

Thanks. I was surprised that I actually managed to get it done. Often I get a bit stuck then spit the dummy and pack it away.

I am the same way doing puzzles...I find it hard even on the computer to leave one I am doing to even go to the bathroom. LOL When I was pregnant with my first daughter in KY, it was snowy and I couldn't go out, so I started doing jigsaw puzzles. Friends would come and bring me puzzles. I got so I could do 3 of the 300 or 500 piece puzzles in one day, but it took me 2 days to do 1,000 or 1500 piece puzzles. Pieces are so small. Couldn't do that today without a magnifying glass. I love doing them on the computer as you can't lose pieces, and they don't take up any room. The puzzle you did has a LOT of different items in it. WOW! Nice Job!

I did a 300 piece one today in a day but they were big pieces. I prefer those now.
