Is it just me or are there crazy driver's out there? I think that alot of these peolpe really don't care if they smash up those 2006 or 2005 cars. People can't drive. Just the other day i almost got into a car accident behind a jeep who was going to turn left with on comming traffic. The jeep started to tuen and then stoped right there in the middle of the road so that no one could go. It was nerve racking. I have four kids who are always in my car and it scares me and make me worried that some one is going to drive into me while i have them into the car. Have you been close to one of these incidnets while driving?

Oh man you should see the way people drive in New York city. It's scary. When my boyfriend was up here, we got around by car all the time. You have to have lightning reflexes and nerves of steel to drive here. You need to be able to weave around other cars that stop in the middle of the road, to watch out for cars that suddenly decide they're in the wrong lane, or feel like driving against traffic on a whim. If that's not enough, you have to watch out for pedestrians who fling themselves at your car because NO ONE here waits for the walk signal. I watch people play frogger through my window all day, since I'm next to a main road. It's ridiculous. ...But it probably makes you a better driver in a way. If you drive in NYC, you'll be exposed to everything that can possibly go wrong, usually within just one hour on the road. I don't even want to drive. I'll stick to taking the trains, thank you very much.

moreover the problem is that even if u drive safely. we must be worried about the fact that some1 should not come and bang us. however safe drivers we are but we cannot help ourselves from reckless drivers

I commute an hour every day to and from work and there are alot of crazy drivers out there. One of the things that irk me the most is when someone pulls out in front of you and goes like 15 MPH and there is no one behind you, like they couldnt wait for me to go bye or couldnt pull out before I even got close to them, like their stuck there like a Deer in the headlights and once you get up on them they decide to pull out. Think God for medication and treatment of Road Rage. LMAO

From the responses I gather that bad driving is universal.People's quality reflects in the things they do including driving. We only have to be wary of these idiots.

I guess that we really need to watch the roads now. To many people that don't know how to drive. they are very careless when it comes to the road.

No, it is not just you! Poor drivers are one of my pet peeves. I get so tired of drivers who think they own the road or those who make right hand turns from the left hand lane cutting everyone off or causing accidents. Those running red lights are so irresponsible and dangerous! And my biggest peeve: signs telling you the road will narrow in one mile, half mile, 500 feet, etc and do the drivers try to merge at the first opening? Oh no! They must rush all the way up to where the road becomes one lane and cause a bottleneck...all because they want to get ahead of everyone. Those drivers tick me off the most. My adult son was in an accident right after we moved here. It was night and he was going up the interstate..not speeding...and all of a sudden sees a dark car parked...yes, PARKED in the lane! He couldn't swerve around it due to cars in the other lane and had no time to stop. Hit the guy! Turns out the guy was drunk and told police he felt tired so he just shut the car off...right where he was...and went to sleep! Despite oodles of witnesses, the irony is that the accident would have been ruled my son's fault. Only thing that prevented it was that the guy he hit gave all phony info to the police and the car wasn't even his! Due to his lying, since the police couldn't locate him post accident, the charges got changed making that guy at fault. It would have only been my son's fault because of the "rear end" rule....anytime you rear end someone...no matter what they circumstances, you are deemed at fault. We were so glad my son was found faultless as I feel the "rear end" rule was wrong in this instance. It was another driver who needs to learn how to drive and how to stay sober!

The guy that was to drunk to dribe should have been arrested in this instince. To shut the car off in the middle of a lane because he was to tired to go any farther. Oh what an jerk.I'm glade that the charges got dropped for your son. Thanks for the response.

we have a lot of them here. perhaps it is our culture and how we live but it is no excuse. most of the time it is due to selfish behaviour and it is sad when it results in an accident with loss of life and all. at other times people are drunk. that is irresponsible behaviour!

I really don't like the fact that people think that the streets are race tracks. If they think that it's okay to race around on the street then they should keep it on a race track. In the past 2 days in our neighborhood I saw 3 accidents where the car were totally smashed. And they were all new cars. I race on a track and I can't see doing it on the streets. The conditions are too dangerous for the kind of thing that people are doing on the streets. They don't pay attention to other driver on the road. I've have had stopping in front of me while making a right turn into a driveway, blatantly running red lights (yellows turning into red), people coming into your lane without them checking even their mirrors, and alot of other things. This is all on a daily basis on my commute to work. And don't get me started on the freeways here in California, they are built so stupidly. Why would you make a on ramp a few feet before an off ramp? I think that there are bad drivers everywhere. I think that road test are too easy for people to pass. They don't take them into real world appications. It seems like, let's go around a few blocks and let's park here and then let's go back and then you pass. When I took my first driving test, if they had taken me into the real world and drove in real traffic, I probably wouldn't have passed but once I got my license I would have been a better driver a lot sooner. I got my license at 16 and now that I'm 36 even though I like racing, when I'm in the streets I will drive responsibly and with courtesy. I just wish that everyone would drive with a little more courtesy, then driving would be easier and safer.

I believe in safe driving but not too careful with your driving or else it will be even more dangerous. Just go on with normal driving and things will get fine.

In INDIA there are very few decent car drivers. That is just because of the corrupted RTO officials who issue licence without verifying the driving skills.

there are a lot of crazy drivers out there... i wonder how they got their licenses.... i guess taxi cabs and jeeps drive like that because time to them, on the road, is very important... that's how they make a living - more passengers, more income... but i'd really like to see them drive more properly... it would be for their own sake, too... the rest of us will just have to reeeaaaalllyy look out. crazy drivers are around.... :)

I live in jersey..home of the bad drivers...its like here everybody went and got a new car the second they got their license and failed to get insurance...you even have people that don't even have license driving like its ok...then, when you get into an accident, they want to cop a plea saying stuff like "I was just trying to get to work" or "can't we just settle this right now? Why do we have to call the police?" its terrible...

So many people out there should NOT be driving! It's so frusterating. I was hit by a truck one time passing through a red light, while on my side it was green and of course I was passing through. Very scary experience but fortunately, and miraculously, little damage was done. I also hate it when someone who is making a right turn from another street and you are driving, having the right of way, that person making a right turn cuts in front of you giving you little time to slow down and then ends up crawling afterwards. So many frusterating things other drivers do, so many to really list.
