I love frogs. They are so cute. I found out that the Wood Frog can survive freezing conditions for months without eating or releasing waste. I used to frequent a large tree across the street from my grandparent's house. In the summer it was covered with small tree frogs. But, I digress.
I have a collection of frogs. Mostly stuffed ones that I set around my room. I also like the color green. I have a collection of little ceramic dishes that hold jewelry too. I even collect unicorns. Not the false ones that are shaped like Pegasus(Pegahorn) but the realistic ones that are about the size of a Shetland rather than a full-sized horse and have tufts of hair at the ankles.
Snow globes are a favorite of mine too.
Do you collect any certain items?

@celticeagle I'm not sure myself, but by the time I found out that there is such a thing as a poisonous frog I just immediately considered all frogs to be poisonous.

That’s wonderful! Frogs really are fascinating creatures, and the Wood Frog’s ability to survive freezing conditions is just incredible. It sounds like you have quite the enchanting collection with your stuffed frogs, ceramic dishes, and unicorns. It must be lovely to have those around to brighten up your space and bring a bit of the magical and natural world into your home.
Your mention of snow globes caught my attention, too. They always seem to hold a little piece of a dream, don’t they? Do you have any snow globes that feature frogs or any of your other favorite themes? It’s always exciting to hear from someone who cherishes their collections as much as you do!

It is incredible. I used to have many more of the unicorns but a girl we let stay with stoled a lot of them, among other things. Yes, snow globes are delightful.

I have ceramic dishes in one of the living room walls. And I have ceramic doves that I inherited from my mother. I used to have a collection of ceramic piggy banks but the burglars took them.

Darn the hides of those burglars. Piggy banks are cute. The gal I want on YT that goes to Rummage and Estate sales sees a lot of those.

That can be an issue. I was just thinking the other day that I need to have my grandson climb up to the top of my high bookshelf and dust off one of the frogs that I have up there.

@wolfgirl569 ........I do the same unless it is really special. I have my unicorns put away. I don't want them broke or stolen. I take them out to look at them occasionally.

Since I'm trying to declutter, I no longer collect anything. But I already have a collection of owls and little village houses. Have a good week.

OMG!!!! Can you imagine what the waste release from the Wood Frog would be like when it finally goes to the bathroom???? It would be fascinating to me.
I collect teddy bears and stuffed animals. I have several that are quite valuable, including one Steiff bear that is 24 inches tall that is hand signed by one of the Steiff family members. One of my neighbors drools over my collection every time she comes over, I have bears and critters in my studio/living room, dining room, and bedroom. She keeps saying we should count how many I have....I can assure her that it's in the neighborhood of 200!
I have to add that if I had my own home I would collect cats that need homes, cats that no one really wants. I'm just an old softie!!!

I used to have two real Teddy bears. But they were lost in a fire. My daughter's dream is to own a big farmhouse and adopt many cats as well as other animals. I'd want a goat.
