If you could put a sign on your door, what would it say?

Mine would say Beware of crazy cats unless you are a friend.

Cats can be dangerous as well as dogs are.

During Halloween, we do. We had a ghost and punk in that said 'boo' and now we have a halloween wreath that says welcome.

@AmbiePam That's cool. Owning a home, we could put them all over if we wanted.

Wait... does that sign mean you don't want packages?
Hmm... I'm not sure yet what I would want on my door. But I do know what I'd want on my car -- a bumper sticker that I saw years ago saying "Are you following me? Don't follow me. I'm lost too."

Probably something nice and simple like “Welcome to Our Home”.

My sign would say, "We are not the complaint department! If you don't have something nice to say, please leave!"

@AmbiePam For some reason when others need cash, they come to us! We are struggling, just like everyone else, we just don't talk about it around people.

I remember a sign that was on the outside of my former neighbor's front door that read "This is not Wal Mart. Please do not ask for food and drinks."

That's a very funny one. I am sure that it would bring smiles to everyone entering the home..
I am working on my art project. I want it to get something like " Nothing feels like home".

@AmbiePam I am hoping for that. I have to keep up with the motivation to finish it. Right now I got one order for some artwork and I am totally into my professional commitment.

Sounds mostly good to me, I might leave off the religious and voting for part personally. As far a different sign entirely, not sure. For holidays we always put up something related to the holiday.

@AmbiePam Usually I just don't answer the door unless it is people I know. That's good that you are nice though... I am not so nice haha

Our area does not allow any door to door stuff, solicitors, etc. If they do come, we are allowed to call the law on them since it's posted. I have not had to, if I see them in the camera, I simply do not answer the door. If I am sick or if my son is, I put a note saying do not disturb, because I do not like to answer the door during that time, plus who wants to be sick? I normally have a holiday thingy on the door, for Christmas, Valentin's, St. Pat's, you know...just change it out. Something to be cheerful for.

We have no soliciting signs up on the complex grounds, but yet a Verizon representative just knocked on my door trying to get me to change internet. What annoys me is how he knocked on the door; like it was urgent. I hurried myself to throw on regular clothes to answer the door. I really shouldn’t hurry anything. Lol

I can't really hurry very fast. You can always put a small ''no soliciting'' sign on your door. I did that for awhile, until the word finally got around that this complex is backing up the no soliciting thing.

I have a outside rug mat at my front door that says
"No stupid people beyond this point" I have other signs
that catch peoples eyes when they come to visit.

Mine could say "visitors welcome" but nobody would see it. It would probably say "yay, you found us" because delivery people seem perplexed by how our buildings are numbered!
