Long Weekend

Good day to you all, hope you all enjoyed the weekend. For many of Americans it might have been a long weekend due to the Memorial Day weekend. I personally took the weekend to enjoy the outdoors and be with my thoughts alone doing some camping. We had fairly nice weather for the weekend although it did rain all three days, but the temperatures were nice. It did rain heavily on Saturday, but nothing too bad. I also did a little fishing and if you have read my stuff in the past, you know I am not a fisherman and really don’t even like it. I spent about four hours fishing and caught nothing, but it was a peaceful time just thinking. I know last time I posted that I had some movies I was going to post about, and I will get to them shortly. For now, I just wanted to post this short one and make some dinner and then get one of those posts up after. Have a good day/night and I will return.

Fishing can be very relaxing whether you catch anything or not! But bringing home dinner is more fun!!

yeah, it is supposed to be relaxing and help my patients, but I get very bored with it.

Just a Tent, I have thought about getting a camper, but they are expensive, and I like the tent so no plans to get a camper anytime soon.

@porwest Yeah, and my tent cost about 200 and that's the end of the costs. Well, I mean I have to buy a bedroll and I do have one of those air pads, but I think maybe that was less then another 200 and it works for me.

@Bensen32 I can't do tent camping anymore. Campers are expensive, but worth it, at least to me. But they do cost a lot on the front end, and of course, there's lots of maintenance, and it puts more wear and tear on the tow vehicle, so...the costs do add up.

Haven't tried fishing in my entire life. I really do want to try doing it but most places requires you to pay a fee to do it. Oh well, maybe someday I'll get to find a place and experience doing some fishing.

@HaruLoid Well if you own your own property and there is a lake or river you can or if you know someone that owns such property no one can come on it to stop you.
