Shocking Thing I Didn't Know Til Now About Trump's Trial

I was thrown for a loop yesterday. My husband had Fox News on and Shannon Bream was interviewing Judge Janine and of course they were talking about the Trump Trial in New York and one of them said "that the Jury had not been sequestered". I was shocked and told my husband that I thought all trials have sequestered juries. He agreed with me. He thought the same thing. It got me thinking. I don't care if you like Trump or not, don't you think his jury should have been sequestered being that his Case is such a high profile case? Even the whole world is following.

I 100% think they should have been sequestered. And they had a whole week off including a holiday weekend to research, watch news, talk to family/friends, etc.

@NJChicaa This makes zero sense to me. Trump has mouthed violently off so many times. I am still worried about the jurors safety let alone their ability to talk to who ever they want to and whenever they want to.

Wow, well then Trump's lawyers will try to get a hung jury because of this. Then we will have to go through it all again with Stormy, as well as Michael Cohen et al. What a big mistake! And all of us taxpayers will foot the bill as usual.

@lifecoachjerusalem The timing of my post here was pure coincidence. Shortly after posting, I heard breaking news that Trump had been found guilty on all 34 counts. I'm at a loss for words at the moment.

@lifecoachjerusalem He has lied about things but so has many past Presidents Democrat and Republican. Will they ever be prosecuted? I don't think so. I don't particularly like Trump but I feel like what has happened has made America just like corrupt countries who destroy political opponents. From now on any political person who runs for President, this could happen to if the other party doesn't like them.

@LeaPea2417 So this proves that he is not an honest business man and probably never has been honest.

Guilty on all 34 counts. There were questions posed about the jury being sequestered but the judge didn't feel they needed to. Now the sentencing won't be until Jully 11th.

@LeaPea2417 .......No, I don't. But, the judge can give him the type of sentence where he has to stay at home or wear a collar or both. Before him being sentenced he has to complete an interview that will tell the judge what type of past he has had, if he is sorry for what he did, and so forth. This will help the judge to see what type of sentencing he should impose. It's all a waiting game now.

@celticeagle yes, sentencing four days before the Republican National Convention. What do you think, do you think he will be sentenced to prison? I think he will be.

@celticeagle I gather sentencing will be determined in part by Trump's level of remorse.

I would think that with such a high profile case and so much media coverage that the jury would be sequestered. Have a good day.

No, not all juries are automatically sequestered. Point of fact is that the majority of them are not.
