Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning myLot from cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 67 F and will reach a high of 70 F this morning before it starts raining.
Today will be an easy day, though if I can go shopping, I will. I found a wonderful surprise in my e-mails this morning. I got paid two days early. My cupboards are empty, so is my fridge, so finding something to eat the last couple of days has been 'fun'. I'll contact my son, or find out if someone here can take me shopping. I also need to get to the bank. That won't be fun as my bank is in the middle of the Farmers Market. If my son takes me, there's a bank close to his place.
Other than that, I'll get my steps, work on a book, and spend time here. I have the notifications and discussions finished for now.

I hope you get to go food shopping. I am going next Wednesday with my peer to a local grocery store instead of Walmart home delivery.

@just4him I ended up not going grocery shopping with my peer. I went with my sister to Walmart since she called me on Saturday afternoon and asked me if I wanted to go to the Walmart that was near me.
The Walmart near my sister doesn't have too much food so if she wants to visit me and has to grocery shop she will ask me if I want to go. There are several Walmarts close to me. She knows I like to go to the store to get food to get in my daily steps. But I do order home delivery most of the time since I can't always get a ride to someplace to get food
I got some great things and my bill wasn't really that high. Had I only bought food I would have been quite a bit under budget!
I bought some non-food items I have been wanting for a long time!

I'm glad you were paid and get to go shopping. My days are boring on the weekends except for the calls from my husband. Have a good weekend.

Going OK so far I guess. I have only been up about an hour. I have been having a hard time sleeping the last two nights and not really sure why. I did have part of an energy drink yesterday, but that was mostly in the morning. I wouldn't think it would still be affecting me. I stayed up late Thursday night and maybe that threw my schedule off not sure. Hope you can get a good shop in.

we were out late last night so had a lie in this morning. The Mister is working in tghe garden at the moment but we should be food shopping later. WSeather is okay but looks like rain at any minute.
