I live on the 3rd floor apartment. My cat was enjoying time near my window. My mom saw a huge crow and it hit the mosquito net. The cat was terrified and lost control. I worried that he could fall from height. But he lost control and was so scared that headed towards the hallway. This happened in a few seconds. I wonder why crows attack cats. I didn't see a baby crow nearby, but they were very noisy. I am glad that nothing serious happened. And the mosquito net wasn't ruined. The crow crashed into it and it was huge.

I hear about birds doing this kind of thing every now and then. I would like to know why birds do this.

Can't say why the crow attacked your cat.But a few years ago a flock of crows had attacked me.Actually I had unknowingly arrived near a baby cat.

A baby cat or a baby crow? They can attack people too. Some people ended up in the hospital. My dad was almost attacked by crows because he caught their baby. I can't believe that he had this courage. Did you have to go to the hospital? Did they cause serious injuries?

@dya80dya I would be afraid of those birds. Watch your cats.

The attacking crow may feel that its territory has enemies and is to protect the safety of itself and its family.

Those big black crows can be very aggressive. They eat practically anything. It amazes me how big some of them really are.

Yes, cats are bigger, however, kittens are not, and they are more vulnerable if left outside.
