Champorado for my teenage girls

It's 4:15 p.m. as I write this, and I just made a nice hot pot of champorado (chocolate flavored rice porridge) for my girls. I thought they might want something to eat at this time because they had only brunch (Spam and eggs) in the morning. It's the instant kind of champorado that comes from a box. I'm trying to use up some stuff from our pantry and a few perishables from the fridge. For dinner, I'll probably just reheat this mung bean soup that I made last week. It's been sitting frozen in the freezer for days now.
Earlier I had a long nap after eating Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich for lunch. I've been feeling literally drained because of my heavy period, so I make sure to nap or rest in between chores. I've done two loads of laundry already, and I'll probably just dump a comforter for my third load. I'll fold the clean clothes later when it's time to watch my Chinese drama again.
I've been Viber-chatting with my friend who's been cleaning her house like a mad woman. I didn't know that she actually gets down on her knees to wipe the floors clean and make them shiny. She's older than I am and deals with a few illnesses. But, wow, she gives it all when it comes to wiping her floors. I should do the same next time. I could use some form of exercise while I meditate about life tile per tile. Cleaning is a form of therapy after all.
I think I'll get myself a bowl of champorado too. See you later, guys.

Thank goodness, I got some really good sleep last night. I managed to nap sometime in the morning too. I'm staying up late tonight 'cause my husband will arrive shortly before midnight. He's been away for 3 days.

We had to make do with this instant champorado that I got from the grocery. I normally make it from scratch using sticky rice grains and chocolate tablea from Batangas. :) I sweetened my champorado with condensed milk and sprinkled some non-fat powdered milk on top of it. Divine!
