Late Afternoon, Feeling Lazy.

I didn't accompany my husband to send my daughter to her afternoon catechism. She has been attending afternoon catechism six times weekly to prepare for her First Communion. I started my day early, so I feel a bit lazy. Tomorrow is a holiday so I am thinking of an activity that we can do as a family. Maybe play chess or watch a movie. Any indoor activity suggestions? It's scorching hot outside so prefer to stay home.

@Iam_jauntyjen I was 8 years old, My mother wants me to ... by 9-10 but I was called by one of my convent sister to attend the classes. So my mother allows me to go for it

Yes, it's nostalgic. It reminds me of my childhood days. Days when we had to memorize fundamental prayers and study about the life of Jesus. How old are you when you had your first communion?

It sounds like you’ve had a busy day! For a fun family activity, you might consider a board game marathon with favorites like Scrabble or Monopoly. If you’re looking for something creative, how about a DIY craft project where everyone can make something special? Alternatively, having a family movie night with some popcorn and everyone’s favorite films can be a great way to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Stay cool and have a wonderful holiday!
