James Kane and Barbie Agostini are very happy to find a small safe that contained $100,000 inside after they went magnet fishing in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City on Friday when they found the money. The couple went to the local New York Police Department (NYPD) to report the money that they found. The police mentioned that the money belonged to the couple since no one reported the safe missing. Magnet fishing is something new that I never have heard of until now. Link is kutv.com/news/offbeat/f...

I bet there's a really interesting story behind that safe. Of course, we may never know what that story is. I have to admit I might be a bit worried about having it known I found it. $100,000 is no small change, and depending on who's money that is, someone might be interested in having it back.

I am sure that there is something that people do not know about the safe in the water that the couple managed to get out of the river.

I've never heard of that either. It's a fun idea. They probably pull up all sorts of things.

Magnet fishing is kind of like using a metal detector.

I never have either. I should try that. Our lake here might yield something interesting. I wonder if they will be able to redeem that money?

Wow, imagine finding a whole safe! It must have belonged to someone at some point, but they were on public property...
