A MyLot member told me that Martin (Great Martin) has passed away. He had been in and out of the hospital several times. I am so sorry to hear this. I was wondering where he was. Our housekeeper's (husband's 3rd cousin) husband was kind enough to pick up my antibiotics. I should be feeling better in a couple of days. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, roll, applesauce Dessert/Snack - Cranberry orange muffin Dinner - PB&J sandwich What did you eat yesterday? I am so sorry, he was a good friend of Alfredo Rossi, who passed many months ago.

@LadyDuck me too. I doubt he ever knew how much of an impact he had on all of us and that he would be so missed.

That's sad to hear about Martin. So many myLotters haven't been here recently and I always wonder if they're ok Glad you got your antibiotics and I'm sure you'll be feeling better quickly. Last night we had spaghetti with eggplant

I'm sorry to hear he passed. Your meals sound good. Yesterday was a meals out day. I had an almond butter and SF jam sandwich before I left for rock painting. At the ADRC I had a BLT and then at Farmer's Market, I had a gyro. On the home front I had Midnight Dark Chocolate Ice Cream. I expect the scale will be up this morning.

Sorry to hear about Great Martin. I didn't talk to him a lot around here, but of course we had an exchange or two. Always sad when one of our own passes. We are almost like family around here. As for dinner, it was a leftover night. I had some more of my beef broccoli and some fried scallops, plus two crab Rangoon and a baked chicken thigh. Dawn had two helpings of leftover spaghetti.

Oh that is sad news on Great Martin! He will be missed. I am so glad to hear that you got your medicine!! You should start feeling better soon!! Yay!! Yesterday, hubby fixed shrimp etouffee for dinner. Quick and easy for him since I was at the boutique. He did pretty good; just didn't brown the roux quite enough!!

Oh GreatMartin . . . I had been wondering about him. I had hoped he made it to his leap year birthday bash. I will forever think of him when I see/eat carrot cake. Here's to our GreatMartin . . . may his beautiful soul rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear of Martin's passing. We had a peanut butter with apple butter sandwich for breakfast, hot dog for lunch and beef tips, broccoli and a baked potato for dinner. Snacks included cheese and a handful of potatoe chips.

@LindaOHio I am sure they are! My mom's were great too! Do you use ground pork along with ground beef? My mom used both and they were so melt-in-your-mouth soft

I’d looked him up on Facebook, and he’d been in the hospital a lot. A post there says he passed on May 28. He made it to “22” (he was a Leap Day baby), but he didn’t get to celebrate it because he was in the hospital. I’m so sorry to hear that. Lunch was chicken taco salad, dinner was BBQ chicken sammiches. And apples!!!!

That makes me feel so very sad but something I already figured, He will be missed but I know having a grand time up above, I hope he has already bumped into Alfredo Rossi that should make things jolly. Get better soon, I had meatballs, seasoned fries, and gravy, It no longer matter one more day and I order my groceries,
