Zogie gave me this little geranium. He had ordered seeds and they were sent too late for him to have big enough to sell. I was spending some bucks so he gave me one free. He often has things for free for me. He says this one will have a pink/peach bloom. It will survive inside in the winter. It needs a bigger pot.
I took some starts that I had in water and some I had potted to give to him today. I also took a big potted plant that needs a new home. He will repot it and give me my pot back.
I am finally having some summer fun.

I think that geraniums are lovely. They are hardy and have a nice bloom. Nice to get those freebies too.

Must have gotten quite cold as they can survive down to about 28 F. I wish you could have been able to save some.

@GardenGerty The last couple of years we have had several fronts with temps as low as 12 F. It's crazy! In my life I only remember low 20's up until the last 10 years!

That's so nice of Zogie to give you the little geranium! It sounds like you both have a great gardening relationship, exchanging plants and pots. Summer fun in the garden is the best. Enjoy watching your new plant grow and bloom!

Yes, he will keep the monstera that needed repotting and I gave him things that he can either keep or share.
