8 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 64 F. It got to 70 F today. The sun has set and it's time for me to head to bed, but I wanted to get the thankful post done before I bid you all good night until Monday.
It's been a good day today.
I'm thankful for friends physical and virtual. They make my life meaningful.
I'm thankful for my children who show me their love in countless ways.
I'm thankful for mobility. I'm 70+ years and many people my age aren't as mobile as I am. I got my steps and worked on the foot cycle today. I know I'm slowing down, but I'm still moving.
I'm thankful for my faculties. My mind and memory are still sharp. I can work puzzles and write books. I can work calculations in my head without a calculator, but I use one anyway.
I'm thankful for my senses: taste, smell, touch, sight, and hearing. I'm also thankful for common sense.
I'm thankful for a place to live, food to eat, and a bed to sleep in. Many people are homeless, and I could be one of them, but I'm not and I'm thankful.
I'm thankful I can make people smile and laugh. I find so much pleasure in seeing others smile.
Everything I'm thankful for is because I have a Savior who gives me all things to enjoy, and takes care of me. His blessings are as numerous as the stars in the sky. I can't count them, but I'm eternally grateful for them.

Amen to all of that, Valerie. 
I’m thankful I got to see my sister and her family today. They’re up here to sing at church tomorrow. Tomorrow will be 50 years since my dad answered the call to preach, and he asked them to sing 3 songs during the service. I love hearing them sing.

Sunday was a good day, I was blessed richly by God's provisions. I thank him for such comforts, my present home and so much food, we have lots. Our two neighbors are being quiet at night, thankyou God!

Okay, I'm jealous of that 70 degree temperature!! Looks like we are in the 90's for good now. Low tonight and tomorrow nights are 77 and 78!!
Thankful for new doors opening for my Farmasi business!! I'm excited!
Thankful for spending time with 2 of my grandchildren next weekend.
Thankful for my home, all necessities, and family!!
God is good!!

AMEN ! I'm Thankful for all the things God has done for me & has blessed me with in life
I'm thankful he has gave me a 2nd chance to fulfil the life long dreams I've always had
& the life of a lifetime to see happen B-4 my very eyes, life has so much to live for now.

Those are good things to be thankful for. Life is a precious gift. Sure, you're slowing down. But, that's god's way of saying you still have a mission to complete. And, you need to slow down so your body doesn't burn out before it's time.
Being sharp is great. George's mind is still in there. He's smart, and amazing. It's hidden because of the stroke, but I see it. And, I'm thankful everyday for it.

I'm thankful that I was able to help my partner to study for her employment exam today.
I'm thankful that she didn't back down on taking the employment exam today.
I'm thankful on how we are able to pay the necessary bills for this month.
I'm thankful for our good health.
