Pizza with Peaches

We ate at Sonoma at the airport today before our departure and on the menu we saw Healdsburg Pizza which is a pizza with peaches. It is the first time I heard this before so of course I ordered it as I am a curious kitty. When it arrived Andrea said his heart is breaking. The Italian in him is not happy with peaches on pizza. But he did say it is better than Hawaiian pizza and I do agree with that judgement. Have you tried pizza with peaches before? If not, do you think you will like it?

I'm intrigued. I would definitely try it! Then again, I also like pizza Hawaii.

I have not but would love to try it. I like pizza with pineapple. Yes, I'm one of those folks, . If your Italian friend would try it with peaches, he might like it a lot.

@flapiz There is only one solution. Each of you get your own pizza. It even tastes great the next day but refrigerate it as soon as you are done eating.

I haven't tried pizza with peaches before, but it sounds like an interesting combination! I'm curious to know how the sweetness of the peaches pairs with the savory elements of the pizza. Do you think you'll order it again?

I think I would as my palate is very Filipino which means I like sweet and sour mixture.

Interesting - never even had that offered as a topping anywhere! I definitely know the Hawaiian one with the pineapple . . . can't imagine it with peaches . . . I suppose I should try it before making judgement on it .

I have had dessert pizza with chocolate chips, peaches, or carmelized apples. But if you mean like with real pizza sauce, no, I have not had that, and don’t think I could do it.

I’ve not had a pizza with peaches on, but I’d give it a go. Peaches go well with some savoury dishes. Pork being one. Did you like it?

Not my favourite as it was a little dry. A drizzle of sauce would be good but I did like it.

Oh so there are actually other viands that has peaches on them. I thought they were more of a dessert food. That does sound yum.
