A bit of a hiccup

We had a phone call at 8am. Vince took the call although he was still in bed. It was the hospital emergency area where I took Vince about a week ago.
The lady on the phone double-checks all discharge forms to ensure everything has been ticked off, etc. Vince had a chest X-ray on that night which showed all was good with his heart. However, it did show a lesion in his chest. This was picked up in 2022 but was very small. It has increased in size and is of some concern.
We’ll pick up the paperwork shortly and we already have an appointment with the doctor for tomorrow. It will probably mean a biopsy but who knows what might happen after that? We could really do without any more issues turning up. Of course, it could also be something simple but it’s a bit worrying.
I guess the good thing is is that it has been picked up and brought to our attention.

I hope it's nothing to be concerned about and hopefully the doctor won't suggest another surgery. I can imagine it was upsetting to get that phone call.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks. The earliest appointment we can get is July 17 so we'll just have to wait and see.

Praying that it's an easy fix and nothing to be concerned about. I'm glad they caught it though.

@JudyEv i wish one day they could find that out without needles and such. i hope for good news here. p.s. i had a kidney biopsy and weather changes, i sometimes feel some small pain when they stabbed me and took one piece of my, you know what. they said it won't hurt, it is nothing. well, i still feel it and i wish i didn't do it but i felt i had no choice.

I hope it is not of any concern. Bob had one they tracked, and then the pulmonologist he finally saw said it was moisture in his lungs!! I hope Vince has a similar good result.

It would be good if it was something similar for sure. It could also be benign but apparently they don't often grow.

Oh gee, just what you didn't need! So sorry this has developed. You really didn't need something else to worry about.

It hardly seems fair that he has gone through so much and is just getting going again. I can't imagine that it can be anything too simple but who knows? We'll have more answers in a couple of hours.
