How I doubled my 2024 MyLot earnings today!

I was supposed to work until 6 PM today. But one of my coworkers was sick. My Meta-Supervisor asked me if I could work until 8 PM and teach four students who were supposed to have lessons with my colleague. I said yes. I dashed home at 4:30 PM, ate some cold refried beans, cheddar cheese and taco shells and taught my colleague's students. I actually had a good time, and have doubled my MyLot earnings for 2024. Whee! Have you ever had a chance to make a few extra bucks? Do you jump on such opportunities? I do.

I have an email that I haven't opened yet. I think it's for a focus group. I have done a handful of them.

Heh. Well, taco ingredients. Cold. But, as the great @Porwest says, it all turns to the same thing at the other end.

Whee! is right. I am retired so the only things where I make a few extra $$ is online. When I see an extra survey I do jump on that opportunity. That's about it. Glad you had that come up.

I don't know what my earnings for this year are. I haven't checked. I'm just trying to get this month up to five dollars before the end of the month. LOL

If there is ever an opportunity to make more money, you bet I will go after it. It's why I am in the stock market after all. It's ALMOST like free money.

Until the next correction occurs. Then we wonder why we didn't see it coming. I am putting my "bonus bucks" in Fixed Income funds at 5.5 percent right now.

If there is no risk, I tend to go for it. I enjoyed myself and made in two house what it would take a year to make on MyLot.

This is good news, occasionally getting extra compensation is a good thing. Here we have a saying, 996. This number means starting work at 9am and ending work at 9pm, working 6 days a week. This culture has caused many people to suffer greatly.

When I was young, jobs were hard to come by, so we did everything we could to keep the job, yes, even get exploited by overworking. There were days I have worked round the clock, with time for bathing and peeing and pooping and of course brushing teeth and eating excluded. There were days I reached office around 9.30 in the morning, and left around midnight or beyond. And I worked on Sundays too. Can you think of such life for about 10 years? That happened, and even beyond that, I continued like that for some more years. I am now a freak of sorts. I want everything in time....from others... lack patience. The other day, I forgot where I placed a document. I was searching and searching and searching. This is not supposed to happen to me. I hate my carelessness. It was not there for almost 18 years, right? High standard set for me, which I am unable to keep up due to age. 996 is bad...I agree.
