Today's trip to the big Tesco. (19/6/2024)

Well, actually, it's yesterday again now because it's after midnight! We went to the big Tesco, and did the usual things. We went up on the lift and I went straight to the magazines and got another stamping magazine. Then I went and got myself a bottle of water. I wanted 3 prawn layered salads but I could only get 2. We were heading towards the pads when we came across this mobile like display thing at the top of the main isle and on it I saw an edamane salad! So.I got one of those instead of the prawn layered salad that I couldn't get. I went and got Mum's pads and then I went to wear she was admiring some of the Tesco F&F fashions. There were some flip flops on a rail. I couldn't imagine myself walking in them and I said as much. I said, they'd go flip and flop too much! Then I said, maybe that's what the F&F means - flip and flop, and my Mum laughed. We went and got the usual fruit and veg. I also got some soy milk with no added sugar. Then I went to get my yoghurts and Mum's milk. Then Mum got her puddings for Sunday and I got some sliced red Leicester cheese. Then we went to the vegan and ready meals isle. I got my fridge raiders meat free bites, Infact I got 2 packets so that I could have one for my dinner and one for my lunch tomorrow (actually, today!) I also got some tofu, some scrambled tofu and some seitan. My Mum got some ready meals. I went and got myself some olive oil, sesame oil, ground ginger and ground cinnamon, and my Mum went and got some microwave rice, one egg fried rice and the other golden vegetable rice. I went and got myself two packets of udon noodles. After that I got a pot noodle for Syd and a tin of salmon. Then I got a 50/50 loaf and 6 sliced buns. Then we went to the cakes section. My Mum got herself some creamy cone things for her and Syd's supper. Then she got some treacle loaf cake or whatever it is. I got 2 vegan chocolate cup cakes that I hope to have for Saturday and Sunday if I remember. We didn't need any crisps or pringles, so I went straight to the teas and coffees isle and got some camomile T-bags and some Love, Corn. Next we went to the frozen section, and I got my vegan magnum ice lollies. Mum didn't need much frozen stuff, but she got the usual battered cod, some fish fingers and some posher gastro battered fish! I got my salmon chunks. I went and got some toilet paper and a big £5 bag of wild bird seed for Syd. Then we went to pay. It came to just over £143! It was still only 4:00pm by the time we'd payed, so we went to sit on a bench for a bit. My Mum suddenly said, Did you get the kitchen roll when you got the toilet paper? I said, Ooh... But my Mum said she'd only just started on the new kitchen roll, so we could get it next week, or from the little Tesco. I went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap, and then went back and sat on the bench with my Mum, and started reading my book. My Mum said You're not going to read all that while you're sitting there, are you? And I said, of course not! At about 4:25pm we went down on the lift. Syd wasn't there yet, and somebody was sitting on the bench. But a few seconds later their taxi came, so they vacated the bench and so we went and sat on it. A few moments later Syd came so we packed the groceries in the boot and went home. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. I put Syd's bird seed by the downstairs loo door. I had my dinner and watched some telly. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night.
