Being dehydrated is a serious issue. Every cell, tissue, and organ in your body needs water to function correctly. Being dehydrated can cause heat strokes, kidney stones, and, seizures. It is smart to pay attention to your body and rehydrate if any of the following occur:
* Feeling thirsty. This is a number one sign. By this time you are already dehydrated so keep hydrated.
* The color of your urine is yellow or darker. Urine should be light yellow or even clear.
* Cracked lips or dry skin. Your skin needs water to stay supple and when it is under hydrated it will become dry and cracked.
* If you feel weak, tired, or fatigued. Especially in athletic performance hydration is very important. Dehydration can tire you.
* Dizziness or lightheadedness. Dehydration reduces the amount of blood fluid circulating through your body.

Since I've had the UTI I've been trying to drink more water. It's hard. I probably have kidney stones due to constant dehydration. Have a good weekend.

That could be true. I am going to be writing a post on the good times of the day to drink water. It might be a way to find different times during the day to get in the habit of drinking some water.

@celticeagle I never drink enough. That's probably why my kidney function always comes back negatively.

Thank you for sharing this information. It's very helpful!
Weirdly enough, my body has been asking me to drink lots of water ever since I stopped drinking coffee. I think it's trying flush out some of the caffeine in my system, which I find it a good thing.
